I ordered a custom set of 50 Free Range dreads and 15 twists in natural brown-to-blonde ombré, and I am SO glad I took the chance.

They are absolutely beautiful! They’re light, fluffy, incredibly comfortable, lay flat against my head, and are so easy to maneuver and style. They’re genuinely some of the most comfortable dreads I’ve worn—and that’s saying something after 2.5 years of wearing them.

I’m normally a bright, bold-color girl, so choosing an all-natural set was completely outside my comfort zone. 😂 But these are gorgeous enough that I may have to admit natural colors have a place in my dread collection after all.

I just got my new set of Free Range Dreadlocks and I absolutely LOVE them. They’re so much lighter and softer, and the brushable waves are super easy to manage and give me exactly the look I wanted.

LOVE My Hippie Cowgirl Dreads! When I initially tried to order the web server was having an issue. I reached out to Haley on tik tok, she was super quick to respond and took the time with me to help me order a custom blended set. I even decided a week later to add some accent pieces. She did not disappoint! I installed my set and immediately was in love. By far the most comfortable set I've worn to date. If I could give more stars, I would! I have never felt better and more myself than I do with these extensions in. I have been a customer for almost 3 years now. At the risk of sounding like an ad, here are all my honest thoughs: I love that there are so many color and style options. I was able to get EXACTLY what I wanted every time. I have place multiple orders with Hippie Cowgirl Dreads over the years and I will never go back to another company. They are the best of the best in all styles. The new Free-range are an absolute game changer for my thin/fine hair. They give me the chance to have tons of volume with almost no weight. All of my sets have matured BEAUTIFULLY. After the initial expanding and "velcro" phase, they are so smooth, flowy, and are not itchy like I have experienced with other brands. The wait time can be long, but it is absolutely worth the end product. It is so clear the amount of love, passion, time and dedication the owner puts into this company and the fact she does it all on her own is truly remarkable.

In case anyone was wondering... yes, Hippie Cowgirl Dreads are construction site approved dreads. Electric, cutting metal, mixing mortar, hanging block, and building fences are just a few of many things my dreads have been through. Wallpaper, painting, flooring, demolition, concrete, retaining walls... these dreads have seen it all.
